The Circle wins Villa Kult Prize at Transilvania Pitch Stop, TIFF 2023

The Circle / Cercul, directed by Valeriu Andriuță and produced by Iulia Andriuță (Amprenta Films), received the Villa Kult Prize at Transilvania Pitch Stop, held within the framework of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF) 2023, from Renate Roginas, director of the Villa Kult Residency Programme in Berlin, Germany.
Transilvania Pitch Stop is TIFF’s industry platform dedicated to projects in development, connecting selected filmmakers with international producers, sales agents and decision-makers. The Villa Kult Prize is awarded to projects that demonstrate strong artistic vision and international potential.
This recognition marked an important early milestone in The Circle’s development journey, supporting its trajectory towards international co-production and festival circulation.
