Logline
In a small forgotten world where Americans didn’t come yet and the Russians didn’t left at all people and life are ruled by a distorted mentality.
Synopsis
A village Mayor together with the local policeman, interrogate a supposed thief. But a phone call from chief-town radically changes the situation. For the next day, he is told, an unexpected visit from the leading party bosses is scheduled, together with a delegation from America. Two years ago, the American guests planted two thousand trees on the meadow at edge of the village. Now, they want to see how their plantation is doing. The Mayor postpones his “interrogation” and quickly heads to the meadow to check the state of the plantation. Much to his dismay, the villagers’ goats have already eaten all the trees.
